Bishop John will be celebrting the Sacrament of Confirmation at 7pm on Tuesday, 30th June, at St Mary’s Oswaldtwistle.
All meetings for candidates are at St Anne’s Church at 6pm, and will be on the following Mondays: 11th May, 18th May, 1st June, 15th June, 22nd June.
The next meeting is: 6pm Monday 1st June.
The traditional weekly offertory collection is one way in which you can support the parish financially. An easier modern alternative is to use a standing order, which allows you to make regular donations directly from your bank account, and has the advantage that you will not have to worry about having the right amount of cash every week. If you have online banking you can set this up online, or you can download and complete this standing order form and post it to your bank or hand it in at the parish.
You can also make donations using the Dona card machine located near the collection baskets in St Anne’s church. This digital collection plate supports both contactless and Chip & PIN payments and you can opt to Gift Aid your donation. You can also make a contribution online by using our Dona webpage. Please use the button below.
There will be no Masses at St Joseph’s from Thursday, 21st May to Saturday, 23rd May.
On Thursday 21st May, Mass at St Anne’s will be at 9am and not 6:30pm. Mass at St Anne’s on Friday, 22nd May, will be at the later time of 9:30am as we welcome the staff and students from our primary school, St Anne’s & St Joseph’s.

There will be a meeting of the Knights on Tuesday, 26th May at 7:30pm in the Marian Room at St Anne’s.
All men of the parish are warmly invited to attend.
On the weekend of 30th/31st May, there will be a collection for the SVP in both churches.
Please do give generously to help support the amazing work the SVP do for the housebound and those in need of support in our parish.

Our next session for the Sacrament of Confirmation is Monday, 1st June at 6pm in St Anne’s Church.
This is for young people in Year 8 or above who wish to be confirmed this year.
On Wednesday, 3rd June, the Club will meet at Oswaldtwistle Mills for a three course lunch. We will be entertained by the dynamic, female vocalist, Saskia Starkie.
Members should aim to arrive by 12pm when drinks will be served before lunch at 12.30pm.
