Bishop John will be celebrting the Sacrament of Confirmation at 7pm on Tuesday, 30th June, at St Mary’s Oswaldtwistle.
All meetings for candidates are at St Anne’s Church at 6pm, and will be on the following Mondays: 11th May, 18th May, 1st June, 15th June, 22nd June.

The traditional weekly offertory collection is one way in which you can support the parish financially. An easier modern alternative is to use a standing order, which allows you to make regular donations directly from your bank account, and has the advantage that you will not have to worry about having the right amount of cash every week. If you have online banking you can set this up online, or you can download and complete this standing order form and post it to your bank or hand it in at the parish.
You can also make donations using the Dona card machine located near the collection baskets in St Anne’s church. This digital collection plate supports both contactless and Chip & PIN payments and you can opt to Gift Aid your donation. You can also make a contribution online by using our Dona webpage. The Mass on Thursday, 7th May will be at 9am and not at the usual time of 6:30pm.
On Friday, 8th May, Mass at St Anne’s will be at the later time of 9:30am as we welcome the staff and students from our primary school, St Anne’s & St Joseph’s. All parishioners are also welcome to attend.

The next Mass for healing with anointing of the sick will be at 12 noon on Saturday, 2nd May at St Anne’s. Exposition and confessions from 11am.

Fr Robert Pytel, the chaplain to our Polish community, will be celebrating Mass on Sunday, 3rd May at 1pm in St Anne’s Church.
Confessions will be heard before Mass.
To celebrate Father Livesey’s Diamond Jubilee there will be Mass on Monday, 8th June, at 7pm in St Joseph’s Church followed by refreshments in the hall.
There are sign-up sheets at the back of both churches for those wishing to attend.
There will be a meeting on Tuesday, 5th May at 7pm at St Joseph’s to discuss arrangements for the jubilee. Anyone within the parish wishing to help, would be most welcome at the meeting.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, 6th May, 2pm – 4pm in St Joseph’s Hall.
It will be a Mardi Gras theme celebrating carnival. It will be great fun!
