There will be no weekday Masses at St Joseph’s from Monday 15^th to Tuesday 23^rd June. (Mass on Sunday 21^st June will be at the usual time of 9am.)

On Tuesday 16^th June there will no be a Mass at 9am at St Anne’s because of the Requiem Mass which is at the later time of 10am.

On Friday 19^th June, the Mass at St Anne’s will be at the later time of 9.30am.

The children on the Sacramental Programme will be making their First Holy Communion on Sunday, 21^st June, at the 11am Mass.

Do please keep them in your prayers. It will also be lovely for you to support them with your presence on the day.

Bishop John will be coming to St Mary’s Oswaldtwistle on Tuesday, 30^th June, at 7pm to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Please keep the children in your prayers as they prepare to receive this important Sacrament.

The re-opening of the cathedral and dedication of the new altar will take place on Thursday, 16^th July—the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Each parish is invited to bring parishioners to this Mass. If you would like to attend then please have a word with Fr Francis as soon as possible as details of those attending must be given to the organisers by the end of June.

Bookings are now open for 92^nd diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes which this year takes place 30^th July to 5^th August.

St Joseph’s Ladies meet every Wednesday, except for the first Wednesday of the month. The Ladies get together in the church hall at 1pm for chat, games, quizzes, tea/coffee, cake, occasional meals out and good company.
