In the Penitential Season of Lent, by prayer, fasting and almsgiving, we seek to bring ourselves closer to the Lord.

The Stations of the Cross, as in previous years, will be prayed on the Fridays of Lent together with our Anglican friends.

Join us at 7pm on Good Friday, 3^rd April, at St Joseph’s.

Our next meeting will be on Monday, 30^th March at 1pm in the Marian room at St Anne’s.

We will be observing the Stations of the Cross followed by afternoon tea.

The next meeting for the Sacramental Programme will be at 6pm on Monday, 30^th March in St Anne’s Church.

This year the Mass of the Sacred Chrism will take place at St Patrick’s Church, Collyhurst on Wednesday, 1^st April at 11am. Light refreshments will be available after the service.

If you would like to attend and represent the parish please see Fr Francis for a free ticket. There is a free bus leaving St Mary’s, Burnley at 9:15am and returning about 3:15pm.

The next meeting will be on Wednesday, 1^st April, 2pm – 4pm in St Joseph’s Hall.

There will be a fabulous Easter celebration, so please feel free to bring your best Easter bonnet!

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Teresa Chaplow who has died recently.

Requiem Mass will take place at St Joseph’s Church on Monday, 13^th April at 10am.
