SVP Mass
Tuesday, 10th February at 7pm in St Joseph’s Church. Everyone is welcome to attend, including those who are interested in becoming a member or finding out about the work of the SVP. Please note: there will be no morning Mass at St Joseph’s that day.
Hospital Bleep
I will be covering the hospital bleep from Thursday, 22nd to Saturday, 24th January. Please remember all who are sick and in hospital at this time.
Leprosy Appeal 2026
A big thank you to everyone who donated towards this year’s Lepra Appeal. A grand total of £653.78 was raised. Your continued generosity is greatly appreciated.
Skip Hire
A skip will be delivered on Monday, 9th March, to begin disposing of rubbish from the hall at St Joseph’s. Please ensure that anything that needs keeping, is either moved from the area or clearly labelled and stored away. Thank you.
Quiz Night Cancelled
The Quiz Night with Pie and Pea supper that was due to take place on Saturday, 30th May at 7:30pm in St Joseph’s Hall has been cancelled.
Funeral Service
We pray for the repose of the soul of Ellen Baron who has died recently. The funeral service will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Friday, 27th March at 1:30pm. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord.
Quiz Night
On Saturday, 30th May at 7:30pm in St Joseph’s Hall we will be hosting a Quiz Night in aid of the Lourdes Nursing and Medical Team. Tickets are £10 each and include a Pie and Pea Supper. Please bring your own drinks. See Fr Francis for a ticket. Raffle and spot prizes on the night!
School Mass at St Anne’s
On Thursday, 19th March, to celebrate the feast of St Joseph, there will be an additional Mass at 9:30am at St Anne’s with the staff and students from our primary school, St Anne’s & St Joseph’s.
