First Holy Communion
The children on the Sacramental Programme will be making their First Holy Communion on Sunday, 21st June, at the 11am Mass. Do please keep them in your prayers. It will also be lovely for you to support them with your presence on the day.
Confirmation Meeting
Our next session for the Sacrament of Confirmation is Monday, 22nd June at 6pm in St Anne’s Church. This is for young people in Year 8 or above who wish to be confirmed this year.
Mass at Mount Carmel
On Friday, 26th June at 12:30pm, Fr Francis will be celebrating Mass at Mount Carmel High School. All parishioners are welcome to attend.
Ruby Jubilee
Congratulations to Fr Alan Swift the PP of St Joseph’s, Todmorden who celebrates the Ruby Jubilee of his ordination to the Sacred Priesthood on 26th June. Remember him in your prayers. Ad Multos Annos!
Funeral Service
Please pray for the repose of the soul of George Shields who has died recently. The funeral service will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Wednesday, 1st July at 12:20pm. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.
Friendship Club
The Friendship Club will be meeting in St Joseph’s Hall at 2pm on Wednesday, 1st July. There will be entertainment by Sean Leonard. It should be a great afternoon.
Re-opening of the Cathedral

St Anne’s Ladies

Fr Livesey Away
Father Livesey is on leave from Monday 27th to Saturday 1st August (no Masses or confessions at St Joseph’s during this time.) We wish Fr Livesey a relaxing break.
