New Members Needed

The Knights of St Columba are appealing for new members to help them continue their work in the Church and community. This organization, open to practicing Catholic men over 16, encourages involvement in parishes and communities, and offers opportunities to serve others and strengthen faith. November Remembrance

Envelopes are at the back of church for you to include the names of your loved ones together with your offering for Mass. The names will be placed near the altar and Masses will be said for them throughout November.

Sunday Missals

In line with the new lectionaries, Sunday Missals can now be ordered at a cost of £19.95. If you would like to order one please speak to Debbie Kenyon or contact Siobhan by email.
Lighting at St Joseph’s

Work on the lighting at St Joseph’s will begin on Monday 22nd April and will take a week to complete. There will be NO WEEKDAY MASSES at St Joseph’s during this time. I am very grateful to a parishioner for undertaking this work and for the very generous discounted quotation. Let there be light!
Red Mission Boxes

If anyone has a Red Mission Box that needs emptying, can you leave it at the back of either St Anne’s or St Joseph’s church to be collected. Thank you.
Fr Leszek Szadowski

Fr Leszek Szadowski will be coming to work in our parish to gain some pastoral experience after completing some studies at the Biblical Institute in Rome. Fr Leszek is a priest of the Archdiocese of Białystok in Poland. He will be joining us in January 2025.
Divine Mercy Devotions – Blackburn

2pm on Sunday, 7th April at St Joseph’s RC Church, Audley Range, Blackburn. Starts at 2:00pm with Eucharistic Adoration, Confessions and Divine Mercy Chaplet. Prayer Blessing and Procession of the Divine Mercy Image at 3pm. Concludes with Holy Mass at 3:15pm.
Caritas Sunday Update

Thank you to all those who donated towards our Caritas appeal. Your generosity raised a grand total of £462.
