Collection for Walsingham

Thank you to all those who donated towards our recent appeal for The Shrine of Walsingham. A grand total of £188.20 was raised.
Disability/Accessibility Awareness Training
St Anne’s Parish Room, Monday 30th September at 6:00pm. All parishioners and anyone interested in accessibility is welcome to attend the meeting. Our friend and accessibility coordinator for the diocese Minna will be with us. All welcome.
Back to School

Spare a prayer for me as I go back to school on Tuesday to continue my studies of BSL at Level 3. Looking at the syllabus it seems daunting and more intensive than Level 2. Hopefully I will be able to cope.
School Masses

9:30am, Friday 4th October in St Anne’s Church with the school children. 12:30pm, Friday 4th October at Mount Carmel with staff and students. All welcome.
Jewellery Stall

At the Christmas Fayre we will be running a jewellery stall. If you have any jewellery that you would like to donate, please can you pass it on to Catherine Devenport as soon as possible so that it can be cleaned and valued. Thank you!
Mass for Deceased Clergy

There will be Mass for the souls of the deceased clergy at St Mary’s, Todmorden Rd, Burnley, BB10 4AU on Thursday, 7th November at 10am. All welcome.
Meeting for Readers

A session for readers from within St John Vianney Deanery will take place at St Mary’s parish rooms, Burnley, on Saturday 9th November. The session will begin at 11.45am and finish at 1pm. Fr Colin Wright RIP

The Requiem Mass of Father Colin Wright will take place on Friday, 11th October at 11am. The Reception of the body and Mass will take place the evening before at 7pm at St Cuthbert’s RC Church, 3 Palatine Road, Withington, Manchester, M20 3LH. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.
