Leprosy Appeal

Each year, over 250,000 people worldwide are diagnosed with leprosy. Although curable, many people are unable to access treatment. Mass in Sign Language

Fr Francis will be celebrating Mass in sign language on Sunday, 25th January at 3pm at St John the Baptist, Bracewell Street, Burnley, BB10 1TB. All parishioners are very welcome to attend.

St Anne’s Ladies

Polish Mass

Fr Robert Pytel, the chaplain to our Polish community, will be celebrating Mass on Sunday, 1st February at 1pm in St Anne’s Church. Confessions will be heard before Mass.

Parish Statistics 2025

In 2025 we had 9 baptisms and 7 received first Holy Communion. There were 18 confirmations, 21 funerals and no marriages. The average Mass attendance over three Sunday Masses and two churches was 210.

Hospital Bleep

I will be covering the hospital bleep from Thursday, 22nd to Saturday, 24th January. Please remember all who are sick and in hospital at this time.

Lourdes Pilgrimage 2026

Bookings are now open for our annual diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes which this year takes place 30th July to 5th August. Further details together with booking forms are available at www.salfordlourdes.co.uk.
