Cleaning at St Anne’s
Thank you to those who helped clean St Anne’s Church last Thursday. We had an amazing turnout of helpers and the church and grounds are looking wonderful.
Ordination to the Priesthood
Please pray for Br Fabian of the Manchester Oratory who will be ordained to the Sacred Priesthood on Friday, 12th December, at The Oratory, St Chad’s Church, Cheetham Hill. We wish him well as he begins his priestly ministry among us.
Festival of Lessons & Carols
There will be a Festival of Lessons and Carols this Sunday, 14th December at 6:30pm in St Joseph’s Church followed by seasonal refreshments.
St Anne’s Ladies
Our next meeting will be on Monday, 15th December. We will be going for our Christmas lunch at The Owd Stables.
Nativity Play
On Monday, 15th December, the children from our primary school, St Anne’s & St Joseph’s, will be performing their nativity play. There will be two performances. One at 2:30pm in the school, and the other at 6pm in St Anne’s church. All parishioners are welcome to attend.
Friday’s Mass at St Anne’s
On Friday, 30th January, Mass at St Anne’s will be at the later time of 9:30am as we welcome the staff and students from our primary school, St Anne’s & St Joseph’s. All parishioners are also welcome to attend. Please see the schedule for all Masses this week.
Christmas Flower Collection
There will be a second retiring collection in both churches this weekend, 20th/21st December, to help defray the cost of the flowers for Christmas. Please do give generously so we can make the churches look wonderful for our celebrations.
Christmas Raffle
There are still tickets available in both churches for our Christmas Prize Draw. Please do take some tickets to sell to your friends and family. The draw will take place at the Christmas Fayre on Sunday, 30th November.
