Volunteers Needed
The hall at St Joseph’s will be open this coming Thursday and Friday, 27th & 28th November, from 2:00pm in order to set up for the Christmas Fayre. We would appreciate as many volunteers as possible to get the hall ready. Thank you!

Cleaning at St Anne’s
Thank you to those who helped clean St Anne’s Church last Thursday. We had an amazing turnout of helpers and the church and grounds are looking wonderful.
Lent 2026
In the Penitential Season of Lent, by prayer, fasting and almsgiving, we seek to bring ourselves closer to the Lord. The Stations of the Cross, as in previous years, will be prayed on the Fridays of Lent together with our Anglican friends. Join us at 7pm on Good Friday, 3rd April, at St Joseph’s.
Ordination to the Priesthood
Please pray for Br Fabian of the Manchester Oratory who will be ordained to the Sacred Priesthood on Friday, 12th December, at The Oratory, St Chad’s Church, Cheetham Hill. We wish him well as he begins his priestly ministry among us.
Festival of Lessons & Carols
There will be a Festival of Lessons and Carols this Sunday, 14th December at 6:30pm in St Joseph’s Church followed by seasonal refreshments.
Nativity Play
On Monday, 15th December, the children from our primary school, St Anne’s & St Joseph’s, will be performing their nativity play. There will be two performances. One at 2:30pm in the school, and the other at 6pm in St Anne’s church. All parishioners are welcome to attend.
Christmas Raffle
There are still tickets available in both churches for our Christmas Prize Draw. Please do take some tickets to sell to your friends and family. The draw will take place at the Christmas Fayre on Sunday, 30th November.
