Former parishioner, Fr Bamber will be celebrating a First Mass at St Mary’s Oswaldtwistle on Monday, 7th July at 7pm. All parishioners are welcome to attend. Please keep Fr Bamber in your prayers as he begins his ministry as a priest.
Friday’s Mass at St Anne’s
There will be no Mass at St Anne’s on Friday, 16th May. Fr Francis will be attending the Salford Singing Programme with children from the school.
Requiem Mass

Macmillan Coffee Morning
Calling on all bakers! On Sunday, 28th September, we will be holding a MacMillan Coffee Morning in support of MacMillan Cancer Care. Funeral
We offer our condolences to the family of Bernice Power-Dreslin who has died. Bernice’s funeral will take place at St Mary’s Church, Oswaldtwistle on Wednesday, 29th October at 10am. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord.
Carol Service
6:30pm, Sunday 15th December in St Joseph’s Church. A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols with the Diocesan String Quartet. Festive refreshments in the parish hall after the service. All welcome.
Christmas Fayre Preparations
There will be a gathering on Tuesday, 29th October at 6pm in St Joseph’s Hall for all who are willing to help in the planning for this year’s Grand Christmas Fayre. Please make every effort to attend. New faces always welcome.
St Patrick’s Day
On Sunday, 16th March we will be serving Gaelic coffee after Mass at both churches in celebration of St Patrick’s Day. Please do come and join us. All donations received will be in aid of the Lourdes Medical Team.
St Joseph’s Piety Stall
The piety stall in St Joseph’s church has recently stocked up with plenty of Easter cards and gifts. Please do take a look at what is on offer.
Nativity Play
This coming Wednesday, 18th December, the children from our primary school, St Anne’s & St Joseph’s, will be performing their nativity play in St Anne’s church. There will be two performances. One at 2pm and the other at 6pm. All parishioners are welcome to attend.
