The Big Listen

School Mass with Bishop

Bishop John will be celebrating Mass at our High School, Mount Carmel, on Tuesday, 23rd January, to mark the tenth anniversary of the chapel in school. He will also have the opportunity to meet with the Eco Warriors, see the environmental gardens and the school pigeons.

A Great Result

Now that the money has been deposited with the bankers we can reveal that the grand total raised at the Christmas Fayre was: £2,640.06 This is a tremendous result. Many, many thanks to all who worked so hard to help achieve it. God bless you all.

Accrington Library

Accrington Library are looking to expand their Home Library Service which enables those who are housebound to receive books or audio material free of charge. If you know anyone who might be interested, more information can be found here.

Food Growing Group

Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes

To celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, a Procession, Anointing of the Sick and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will take place on Sunday, 11th February, at 3:00pm in St Anne’s Church. All welcome.

Dementia Training Course

A training course, Welcoming People with Dementia, will take place on Friday, 23rd February from 2:30pm to 4:00pm at St Patrick’s Church, Livesey Street, Manchester M4 5HF. Topics include: understanding the impact of dementia; living well with dementia, removing stigma; supporting families. With BSL Interpretation.All welcome.
